BTC remains bullish short-term with long wicks attached to the previous two daily candles signaling a rejection of lower prices or lack of conviction among sellers.

The daily chart MACD histogram has crossed above zero, confirming a short-term bullish reversal. The bullish hammer reversal pattern confirmed on the three-day chart last week is also valid with prices holding well above $6,847.

Bitcoin looks set to retest a falling trendline support at $7,600. A violation there would expose the recent high of $7,870. A break below $6,847 would weaken the bullish case.

Long-term trend: Neutral

Bitcoin has found acceptance below the 50-week MA – a cause of concern for the bulls. Historically, the cryptocurrency has suffered deeper losses after falling below the key average.

Definitely appreciate that wisdom! Any moves I am discussing here are kept pretty small, particularly on the short side! I'm always trying to live to see another day. That is separate from my LT crypto sentiment, where I plan on retiring with a lambo yesterday

BTC's low-volume pullback from the Nov. 29 high of $7,870 to the low of $7,087 seen earlier today has ended with a strong bullish move, as expected.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $7,500, having hit a daily high near $7,770.

BTC has established a high low near $7,100 on the daily chart, validating the bullish hammer reversal pattern confirmed on the three-day chart last week.

A close above $7,870 would invalidate lower highs setup and further strengthen the short-term bullish bias.

The bullish case would be invalidated below $7,087.

Price has made a stellar recovery from this morning, 8K is the next target as is 9K then 13K if the chart is to be believed, sellers at the spike but look to becoming a possible minority, any buyers will be holding for the golden handshake, only my opinion.

My take is that it's trying to hammer a base to rally from soon, though a daily close below 7080 would strongly undermine this view. Bullish until then.

No strong follow-through in any direction! Valient effort by some rogue actors either way but BTC is stuck in that range right now.
