Hey all,
So I popped down to the local book store in the area I am in for the umpteenth time looking at what the latest releases are for trading books, I have read a bucket load over the years but you can never get too many good new ideas in my opinion if for no other reason than to exercise the brain.
Anyhow, is it just me, or are all the authors just churning out the same old rubbish? .. RSI this, Stochastic that, MACD here and a MACD there .. I mean really come on. I know there are some new ideas out there, but it is clear that the books aimed at the newer end of traders love just writing pages and pages of crap. I am not one to name names, good luck to them, but there are many "trading gurus" in print at the moment who says trading a 10 period RSI for overbought and oversold conditions is good enough .... anyone who has done more than a day of backtesting knows that this aint the truth for consistent profits (or any for that matter) ... anyway enough of the ranting.
It makes me think it is time I go back into the book writing world and spit something that actually talks about the market reality instead of the textbook reality. Also books on the currency markets are hard buggers to come across, despite it being one of the, if not the, biggest growth area in speculative investment.
SO ... the point of all that rambling is to get your ideas on what YOU would like to see in a book aimed at the early trader, there are plenty that fit that group here at FF (and all the mighteist of luck to you might I add .. I wish you many riches and much fun and frevolity) so would love to hear some thoughts ... and you just never know ...

You can quit and they won't care, but you will always know.
