Keeping in with tradition CR, I was waiting for the gap to close, the spread + making up the gap would cost a small islands purchase if I opened at this point, may miss the party but never have any regrets, D
I don't need to be good at the game, only good enough to beat my opponent.

BTC: Price: $9,330 | MCAP: $168.23 Billion | 24-Hr Volume: $26.42 Billion

Short-term trend: Bullish

Bitcoin has violated a bearish lower highs setup on the hourly chart with a move above $9,245. Further, BTC is teasing an upside break of a descending trendline on the 4-hour chart.

A re-test of the 100-day average at $9,606 could be in play. BTC has failed three times in the last five days to hold on to gains above the long-term average. A close above the 100-day MA could embolden bulls, leading to a sustained move above $10,000.

A possibility of a move all the way back to $10,350 cannot be ruled out as the recent pullback from that level was accompanied by a drop in trading volumes. A low-volume pullback is often short-lived.

BTC could rise well above $10,350 in November as it will enter the pre-reward halving period six months ahead of May 2020.

Long-term trend: Bullish

If you zoom out a bit to the weekly chart, I see a big consolidation range. My expectation is we might bounce around anywhere between 8-10k for maybe a month, so I will be playing that range as such. Then I think there will be a large move.

V, I made my move last week based on the weekly, my thought was a pullback from the previous high, my outlook for targets seems to be the same, the only thing stopping my re-entry is the gap, also holding over the weekend unless it's holding a stella profit is a no no, tomorrow is Friday so little chance for me, D

BTC: Price: $9,200 | MCAP: $165.92 Billion | 24-Hr Volume: $25.41 Billion

Short-term trend: Bullish

The repeated defense of the 200-day average indicates the pullback from the Oct.25 high of $10,350 has likely ended and a price bounce, possibly to key resistance at $10,600 could be in play.

A bigger bounce cannot be ruled out as the pullback from $10,350 to $9,000 was accompanied by falling volumes.

A few observers believe the bounce may remain elusive, as bitcoin's hash rate or computing power is falling and price may follow suit. The metric has dropped to around 90 exahashes per second (EH/s) since Oct. 24. Prices have rarely followed the hash rate in the past.

The hash rate tends to follow bitcoin's price. After all, the movement in prices influences mining profitability.

The case for a bounce to $9,600 would weaken if the hourly chart support at $8,977 is breached.

Long-term trend: Bullish

BTC price seemingly very little effected by the BitMex hack. Market shaking off bad news is a strong signal IMO

Interesting to note.

Coinbase BTC 24 hour market volume = $73,078,163.

BitMex BTC 24 hour market volume = $2,231,330,182 BUT is Derivatives.

I think you may be right. With people using up to 100x leverage who knows what the story actually is.

Seem to be on the same gap as the rise to 18k+, but as ever the gap closed on the fall, will not enter until this has closed then more of a solid move up, no regrets if it goes from here, the market never forgets, so don't forget the forget, good trading all.
I don't need to be good at the game, only good enough to beat my opponent.
