so raise interest rates because inflation is lower than expected.....and then you suggest raising interest rates would be bad for banks profits...

The point is its been predicted, so already priced in. If it happens but the statement shows a more optimistic outlook then it could reverse. The market has priced in the 50bps and dovish outlook, it could be easy to pull back. Its going to be more ...

Because they are the numbers upon which the fed makes decisions. Those decisions affect the currency and thats what we trade.....pretty simple really
