What about the average spreads for this account? Normally zero commission accounts' spreads will be higher.

I'm kinda new to the market but have been seeing too many traders affected by their own mindset. Found this thread rather helpful! I guess the tricky part is about the risk control and not be too greedy!

Psychology of it

Demo is completely different comparing to live account. You don't have to deal with your emotions since the money isn' real lol And most of the time, being GREEDY is what caused blowing up an account.

Why don't you consider changing to a different broker? Or is there anything specifics about ninjatrader?
