From what I see, it is currently at a range but I am looking to short this pair maybe this week. If we can have sell pressure that can bring the price below 1.21993, I will look to short this.

That is exactly what I do. When they go short I am going long.

This is my opinion. Since this is a thread based on stuff that is unreliable. News can be very unreliable. Sometimes you see news that is supposed to be good for a pair but the market is taking it in the other direction. Its like the market pays ...

Who said that? No one said TA was not important.
- bento2019 replied Nov 18, 2021
If you are talking about my comment, I did say TA is essential part but without management, your trading will fail. I didn't separated anything. I don't think anyone did.

You could flip a coin and still be profitable if your management is good and it is a science. I don't care what anyone says. Management is a science and the MOST IMPORTANT PART OF TRADING. Risk/ reward, proper stop loss, scaling your trades > TA. ...

You always want to strive to have a good win rate but yes, management is the most important part of trading. Like I said a couple of weeks ago I was 40 percent win rate in scalping the 5 minute chart and was still 70 pips in the black.

I never thought about of looking at those things. Could you post an example? I would really be interested on how to look at that. Thank you.

I hope I am misunderstanding your statement. I use those tools well, the Macd for the purpose of seeing divergences. For example, classic. When I see The trend making lower lows but the indicator is making Higher lows, it makes me think that this ...

I forgot to add something. There are times where I go against the daily trend but I don't "bet" as much. For example, when I go against the trend, I don't put 2.0 lots on the table and risk my .4 percent. I put .5 lots on the table instead. If I am ...

Here is what works for me and you can take it how you want it. Not financial advice what so ever. Price action is my leading indicator, my lagging indicator confirms my direction, price action is also my entry, my stop loss is based on the 1.5 ATR, ...

This has to be the most helpful tool I have downloaded in a long time. Thank you for this.

You can also look at a ozymandias indicator. it is a like a bollinger band but fast moving.

First off this is not financial advice and you need to do your own research but I use the QQE as confirmation. The reason is indicators like the absolute histogram, vortex, or even a zero crossing indicator like a Chaikin Money Flow are too slow. ...

It involves the following indicators 1. cycle identifier/ spike (repaints) 2. spike (does not repaint) 3. QQE (confirmation and exit) 4. renko channel (recalculates) 5. Brilliant reversal (recalculates) 6. vertex indicator (repaints) 7. Automatic ...

I was wondering if we could talk about this because my algorithm is complex. Let me know if you are willing to talk outside of this thread. Thank you.

Jeff Wecker is an awesome trader and I like watching his videos but those indicators look like they repaint. I am not too sure if they are but they look like they do. Now, is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. If you have a confirmation and you ...

Here is the thing about the Spike indicator and indicators like it. It repaints but here is the thing, you can use it as directional bias and only that. Now, if you find a great indicator that can confirm that directional bias, you could make use of ...

On the weekly, I am looking to short this pair. It hit resistance at 1.421ish and it was a major supply zone. I am pending confirmation on the 4 hour chart and will be looking for shorts.
