Its ridiculous that thread after thread is hi-jacked by a member obsessed with Bitcoin promotion.
Isnt there a seperate forum for crypto-currency traders? I do wish he would go there. This is boring.
The result is that a dozen posts on the news item, above theres hardly a handful have even addressed the substantive issue of the ballooning US current account deficit.

Agree with Ross AGAIN! OMG!

So whats YOUR take on this?

My interpretation is that by saying this Powell opens the FED to further cuts in rates to finance the debt possible. Cut spending? This is the USA - no politician will cut spending. I dont like it but it is what it is

so they're not using QE aggressively already then? They're already operating at the level at the depth of the financial crash so he's going to go nuclear printing next with a Fed balance sheet set to infinity. You're going to see gold explode vertically with this madman

The way I see it every trade should be a straight-up business transaction devoid of emotion. If you want to build wealth you only take low-risk high reward bets. Look at every choice you make and take that approach. Make a bet only when you know the odds are in your favor. Trading is no different, approach it as a business, learn how to value capital, think of your self as a wealthy and cheap person looking for low-risk high rewards investments. Your concern is not to ask when do we jump in, instead, ask yourself if this a safe bet and if the answer is yes then you take it. Even the smallest of capital shall be multiplied and built with this mentality. Use it, own it! You can spot these opportunities in crypto trading as well First, learn to chart so you can see these opportunities developing, learn to properly gauge your risk-reward ratio and stick with one position size strategy.

My eyes are better than yours for sure. Especially when your own chart makes a case against you. Maybe in 2021 and beyond you get 50k, but definitely not in 2020, and for sure not without a correction. You use more emojis than a teenage girl. Hmm... I almost wonder if you're as narcissistic as one as well. You say we spend half the time in each of the bands, and clearly unless price drops like a rock between now and your next black divider line, there will be a drop to 6k before 50. Even with "The Halvening" you're gonna have to wait for "The Quartering" to see that 50k. Your post even before the chart says 'NEXT YEAR 60-90k.' But if I wanted a safe haven why would I trust something as silly as 1s and 0s over something actually scarce like PMs? Lol, artificial halvening is your scarcity, and it is no more safe than any other fiat which is cryptographically encrypted for transactionactional purposes. IE, bank transfers. I don't trust banks, but shit, they have the power to rule nations dumbo. You on the other hand are an imbecile who copy-pastes like a bot. I laugh everytime I think about warehouses full of computers going full blast to solve a puzzle, especially when the computational power required becomes more and more expensive as time goes on. Where does BTC and this exponential growth curve you have stop? $1million? Good luck convincing people their money belongs with techies instead of banksters and the government. If you haven't noticed they're already one in the same since the 90s. But anyways, I hope BTC goes to 30k, means SHTF and money will be made in anything with a "safe haven" status. Good luck.

They need to raise rates to force the reduction of binge borrowing. It is a must. There is no money left to bail out the system. Plainly stated by Powell. Basically he is warning Trump that he has no choice actually raise the rates in order to have room to cut in the future. There i said it for you Trumpy. Trump has become like a democrat not a conservative that believes in a balanced budget

crypto morons? I am almost certain, that on average, people trading in the crypto market (with more than a year of experience trading) are making more money than people are making (with the same experience) trading the Forex market. The Forex market is losing its luster. At some point, it will become a thing of the past. Digital currency is the future. Embrace it!

It's likely you permanently missed your opportunity to do that. As for gold, you only think it is better because you have been taught to think like that. Times change, and in time, minds change. Those that don't change usually live to regret it.

The same could be said about gold. Just because bad players have painted a bad picture in your mind about crypto, it doesn't make it a scam. Take an honest look at what you said. It doesn't make sense.

The real SCAM is fiat.

Crypto currency is a giant garbage dumpster no doubt about it.
Primary, bitcoin was designed to move money so that the law enforcement can't track illicit earnings.
And that's a honest look on bitcoin.
Crypto crooks choke of hate because they will never escape taxes. Trying to evade tax is crooked ...and childish

Ultimately, bitcoin is a computer code, ...and that code only has value because other people say it does.
It doesn't worth anything, it's just a crooks and wannabes' game.

You are delusional. Go and buy some groceries - food for your family and buy a roof over your head. The two most important things a human can have.

The third most important thing is communication.

So, tell me now, which achieved the goal?

They're runningo out of levers. They can't get inflation above 2.0%.

They're unwilling to drop rates, because that will incite more fear among investors and a vote of no confidence on the green back.

Only option is QE. Japan is the canary in the coal mine for this project so US is sitting pretty in action/reaction to what their next move will be. If Japan hits massive roadblocks with this monetary experiment, that could give them some warning (as to what may come if they keep injecting?).

Crypto is still in its early phases, and Bitcoin is only good for pump and dumps. My theory on BTC, if US goes to war on 'X'. Buy. Massive Drug seizure, or bust (like JPMorgan cocaine seizure) sell. Because dirty money is taking a hit somewhere...

As far as i'm concerned BTC is only a money laundering vessel, riskier than FX.

Also, stop spamming promoting BTC it is non-relevant and annoying. (not you The Fool, but others in this thread).

True, if bitcoin would be something else but trash it would be relevant to comment at every US debt news.
Such as gold for instance.
But bitcoin is nothing but a sophisticated financial scam.
