In November 2024, the selling prices in wholesale trade were 0.6% lower than in November 2023. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the rate of change was -0.8% in October 2024, and -1.6% in September 2024. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that wholesale prices in November 2024 remained unchanged from October 2024.The main reason for the year-on-year decrease in wholesale prices (total) in November 2024 were lower prices in the wholesale of mineral oil products (-10.9%).
