    The Producer Price Index for final demand was unchanged in September, seasonally adjusted, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Final demand prices advanced 0.2 percent in August and were unchanged in July. (See table A.) On an unadjusted basis, the index for final demand rose 1.8 percent for the 12 months ended in September. Within final demand in September, a 0.2-percent increase in the index for final demand services offset a 0.2-percent decline in prices for final demand goods.   • Another key US inflation gauge fell in September

    Inflation for US producers slowed further in September, adding to hopes that prices aren’t getting jacked up before they get to consumers. The Producer Price Index, which measures average price changes seen by producers and manufacturers, rose 1.8% for the year ended in September, a slight downshift from the 1.9% gain in August, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Friday. Economists expected the PPI would slow to 1.6%, according to FactSet consensus estimates. The focus is on jobs and -.1 % Feds will go down .25 intrest in Nov. questionable about Dec. That's my take.
