OneCoin Executive Gets Four Years Over $4 Billion Crypto Scam

The legal and compliance head for phony cryptocurrency OneCoin was sentenced to four years in prison for her role in the $4 billion fraud scheme, becoming the latest scam participant to end up behind bars. Irina Dilkinska was sentenced Wednesday by US District Judge Edgardo Ramos in New York. Last year, Dilkinska pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money-laundering conspiracy charges, after admitting she helped launder more than $400 million from the scam through a series of fake Cayman Islands investment funds.
