BoJ’s Ueda: BoJ Won't Directly Target FX In Guiding Monetary Policy

Okay, so you're going to target FX indirectly? Wonder what that could be.

We can almost rule out intervention at this point... other currencies have lost the momentum against Yen obviously and also we have SNB's Jordan confirming that they are ready to Sell CHF.

Yes, Eur and Gbp are loosing momentum, but Usd is still not giving in.

USD, while stubborn, still doesn't have that momentum against JPY. We may see one more rally of USD and the Reversal on USD pairs should be coming soon. My take based on the charts. On DXY Resistance seems to be at 107.6 if it even gets there..

Seems like USD is the new Bitcoin. At this point, I would say that the market had already priced in the idea of intervention, as for months it id on the table. Now Ueda comes out with snother B******t like right now. Until they will decide for intervention, USDJPY will be at 200 and the intervention will already be *priced in*.
Will be interesting in watching Ueda destroy his own country, which is already dealing with its demography crisis. With this Idiot behind the weel, Japan will be empty even before he decides to intervene.

He's trying his best to artificially grow Japan by inflating stock prices to ATH, not realising that currency strength is just as important if not more important than the stock market, if your currency is too weak to compete, why should firms invest into a country that is manipulating it's own currency beyond what US and EU do with theirs.

Granted Japan is the lesser evil compared to other central banks, but the country now has the chance to bounce back by ending negative rates and ending YCC, give the Japanese population & market the chance to grow organically, because the longer they artificially pump the country with fake growth, the quicker the fall from grace will occur.

Jpy is good looking at it from the chart.
