You are thinking of intervention but what are doing for your currency to improve? Your currency is being valueless due to its negative performance.
when? May be 150>155>160?
Now its all about 145, we have to clear this out confidently, then 147.5 is the next. Then may be we can see some intervantion?
USD/Cad is also performing well in a long way towards 1.46672
i thinksome time next week will hit the speculators hard. then it will margin them out. they all know the stops

As long as Fed keeps agressively raising rates and BOJ keeps rates at -0.10% it is hard to see how any intervention can have any meaningful effect other than to deplete foreign currency reserves in such a quixotic endeavour.
